 Thank you for the sweet, encouraging words to continue blogging. I wasn’t intending for it to be over. I just needed a break to gather my thoughts, work on certain issues, etc. And even though I remain a human being, with many, many mistakes, I didn’t intend for it to end! May Allah love you all. I guess I’ve ‘moved’. But it’s not ’simply’ a blog, nor does it belong to just one person. Let us just say that there is a lot in store and I hope it benefits ME, insha’Allah. If it benefits others, YAY! Alhamdulillah!

as-Salaamu `alaykum

Tis the end of this blog (though I will post replies to some comments that I haven’t yet responded to here). I also hope that a few others out there (muslims in particular) will put an end to their blog or change the direction of their blogs/sites. Please remember that Islaam is about what Allaah revealed, not about our own opinions. Remember that Islaam is clear and our life is short. We don’t know if any one of us are promised tomorrow. We are no one to remove the mercy of Allaah from anyone. We are no one to bicker over the deen of Allaah Subhaanahu wa ta’ala. Islaam is simple and clear. It’s human beings like us that make it so difficult.

We really need to make our focus in our lives our Lord, Most High. Nothing else matters. Please forgive me for harming any one of you out there. May Allaah forgive me and all. Aameen

And remember guys… we either fix ourselves or Allaah will fix us.

Abu Hurayrah (radhiyallaahu `anhu) reported that the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He) likes three things for you and dislikes three things. He likes for you to worship Him, not to associate anything with Him, and to hold fast, all together, by the Rope which He (stretches out for you), and not to be divided among yourselves [cf. Al `Imran 3:103]. And He dislikes for you to pass on stories and gossip, to ask too many questions, and to waste money.” [Sahih Muslim]

Ya Allaah

If our Beloved Messenger Muhammad (sallAllaahu `alayhi wa sallam) was present now, would we obey him? This is a question you and I should ask ourselves sincerely. We can look at our deeds to really determine this answer. Do we obey him now? Do we have problems listening and obeying? It doesn’t just refer to obeying him in the big things but also refers to the little things. Remember, pebbles build mountains. 

Allaah reminded us that obedience to Allaah is obedience to His Messenger and told us to also obey those in authority over us. Let’s ponder over it. Islaam is simple. It means submission. A Muslim submits. We submit because we love Allaah (Glorious and Exalted is He). Atleast that’s what we claim.

Fiqh of Ahl-Allah: On Reflection (Imam al-Haddad)

The three most harmful diseases of the heart are: Kibr, Riyaa & Hasad.

When someone says anything towards you that pushes you to hold a grudge against them, have any type of ill feelings, just make du`aa’ for them. Ask Allaah to forgive them and bless them in this dunya and the aakhirah. Try to look at the good qualities of the person as well. It’s amazing how much better our lives become for doing this.

I don’t understand why some of you sisters out there want to be just like the kaafira. Why would you want a life of ignorance when you are blessed with a life of simplicity and goodness? Why would you care what these kuffar women think about you, when it is you that should be thinking how unlucky they are and making du`aa’ for them? Why would you want to listen to the music they listen to when you know it kills their heart? Why would you want to have boyfriends? Why would you want to discard your obligatory garments for trashy things that only prove you are desperate for attention? Why would you want to dress like a whore, smell like a whore, and act like a whore when you know that their life is filthy? Why would you date a kaafir man and get pregnant and then expect Muslims to welcome you with open arms, and expect them to marry you off to a good Muslim man? It’s your own damn fault that you end up in the messes you end up in. Grow up. Be thankful that you have Islam and grab a hold of it. Stop calling yourself a Muslimah if you are going to be ashamed of being one. Because honestly, being a Muslimah is the best thing in the whole wide world. It’s amazing. It’s beautiful. And it’s what makes life worth living.
