Bismillaah

As the news flashed before our eyes, images & comments on the death of Saddam Hussein flashed and have been continuing to flash. I’ve been reading message after message posted on the net about his death. Messages ranging from sadness to joy. Joy coming from the ignorant shi’a who are mass-murdering our muslim brothers in Iraq who call themselves sunni. Messages of joy coming from ignorant americans, who fell for the whole “Saddam, has weapons of mass destruction…” lie.

So the question now arises. Has this chapter been closed? Well we know for sure that the book has not ended and there are many more chapters left to come. Saddam was taken off power, violently. The Iraqi people have been murdered, tortured and imprisoned but for what? There were no weapons of mass destruction. Do we forget how even their own government people, admitted that? This war was unjust to begin with. They remove a man, who yes was ruling by other then Allaah’s Law, murdered people and what not… but of course they didn’t care about that. All they cared about was to have some type of excuse to go in there and attack. For what? We all know it. Their pathetic worldly gains - oil.

Now, after seeing the video of his hanging, we can only say Allaah is The Just and The Merciful. He did utter his shahadah several times and for sure we weren’t there during the last few months of his life. We should take heed from his death and remember that Allaah has told us, to remind us, to caution us, that we should not take the kuffar as our friends and allies. Surely, they will never be pleased with us.

We look at America and their hypocrisy. We look at their supporting of several groups, at different times. But now we see their cowardly betrayal. They are the ones that supported Saddam during the Iraq/Iran war. They are the ones who should also be tried for their alliance with him. Of course, these people are probably dancing about Saddam being no more. They expect people to forget all of the past with Iraq and with that expect to close the chapter.

O America, where is your honor? O Americans, where is YOUR honor? You claim to be the best people on the face of this earth, yet you have become the evil ones. Of course, not all. There are actually people out there speaking out against their government and trying to get this war ended. But what good will it do now? All that bush and blair have done is started a new civil war between the Sunnis and the Shi`a. All America has done, is kill more women and children, rape our women and all in the name of democracy.

Is this your democracy, O great america? You americans, can jump up and down about the death of Saddam, but we all know who the real tyrants are. Your tyrants are the ones that have done more harm then Saddam would have probably ever have commited. Your tyrants are the one that gave him the power to do what he did!

This chapter may be closed in the sense that Saddam is now dead, but many chapters have opened in the last few years. But as Muslims, we know the final chapter… and the book remains open.

وَيُحِقُّ اللّهُ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ

“And Allâh will establish and make apparent the truth by His Words, however much the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) may hate it.” (Yunus 10:82)
